Explore the neightborhood

Very well located, the neighborhood offers everything within easy reach: you can easily do everything on foot.

Just 400 meters away, the Muse shopping center welcomes you with its many shops, restaurants, boutiques (open from 8 AM to 8 PM), a cinema, and a bowling alley for your leisure time.

Just 350 meters away, enjoy a popular rooftop with a great atmosphere, perfect for a drink with a view. The Heler House or Starck Hotel is a Metz curiosity… Its architecture is highly controversial and at the center of many debates…

Art lovers will be delighted by the proximity (5-minute walk) to the Centre Pompidou-Metz, the Imperial Quarter, and the train station (voted the most beautiful station in France). Food enthusiasts can enjoy a gastronomic experience at a starred restaurant near the Pompidou or at its brasserie for lunch.

The historic city center is also within a 15-minute walk, featuring Place Saint-Louis with its arcades, terraces, and typical atmosphere, as well as its Christmas market from mid-November to the end of December.

For a nature break, the Parc de la Seille is very close by—perfect for a walk or a jog. At the end of the park, an Olympic swimming pool will delight sports enthusiasts or those seeking aquatic relaxation.

A complete neighborhood guide will be sent to you as your booking approaches to help you make the most of your stay.

How to get to the city center?

→ On foot (15 min)
→ Or free N83 City shuttle from the forecourt of the Pompidou Center (600 m).

Which places in the city center should not be missed?

On Saturday mornings, it’s market day in front of the cathedral. It takes place right next to the covered market, where you’ll find delicious local specialties.

I recommend a tasty break at Mauricette (in the covered market) to try an authentic quiche lorraine or pâté lorrain.

The liveliest spots in the city for drinks or dining are Place de Chambre (at the foot of the cathedral) and Place Saint-Louis, both within a 15-minute walk from the apartment.

The tourist office is just steps from the cathedral.

How to get to the apartment from the train station?

I f you arrive by train, exit throught the back of the station following the direction :
"pôle d’échange multimodal" "gare Lorraine TGV" These signs are visible on the elevators.

You can also follow the signs indicating :
« Sablon – Centre Pompidou Metz – Metz Congrès Robert Schuman ».

The apartment is 450 M from the train station.
